Junkless Terms of Service
Effective date: April 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Junkless macOS application ("Junkless," "the App") published by citrus-citron ("we," "us"). By installing or using Junkless, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
Junkless is licensed, not sold. The license you obtain by purchasing Junkless from the Mac App Store is governed primarily by the Apple End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement the Apple EULA. Where they conflict, the Apple EULA controls for matters covered by it.
You may install and use Junkless on any Mac you personally use, in accordance with the Mac App Store license rules.
2. Permissible use
You agree:
- Not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Junkless, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law (for example, EU Directive 2009/24/EC).
- Not to redistribute, resell, or sublicense Junkless.
- Not to use Junkless to violate the rights of others or applicable law (including spam laws).
3. No warranty regarding spam detection
Junkless attempts to identify spam by analyzing the structural properties of email messages. Spam detection is inherently imprecise. We make no warranty that Junkless will:
- Detect every spam message,
- Avoid all false positives (legitimate messages classified as spam), or
- Function correctly with every IMAP server, every email format, or every future protocol change.
You are responsible for periodically reviewing Junkless's classification decisions, especially before deleting messages flagged as spam.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, citrus-citron shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Junkless, including without limitation: lost business opportunities, missed legitimate emails wrongly classified as spam, or spam emails that Junkless failed to detect.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim relating to Junkless shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to acquire the App.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com and are governed by Apple's refund policy. citrus-citron cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.
6. Updates
We may release updates to Junkless at our discretion. Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store and are subject to the Apple EULA's update terms. Major versions may be sold separately at higher prices; previously purchased versions remain functional.
7. Privacy
Junkless does not collect personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Termination
The license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall Junkless. The "no warranty" and "limitation of liability" sections survive termination.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tokyo, Japan, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you other rights.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page and posting the new version at this URL. Your continued use of Junkless after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
